Every Pokémon of the fourth generation (Gen IV) in the augmented reality game Pokémon GO

Getting all the creatures into your Pokédex is a huge part of Pokémon games - core RPGs and many spin-offs. Still, it’s not so easy to achieve this exciting goal. There are lots of Pokémon in the virtual existence and some of them are quite rare.

Niantic, the developers of the AR adventure Pokémon Go, add new species into their product gradually. In April 2020, we have most of the creatures till the Generation V. You can easily catch lots of them, but soon, you will be meeting mostly duplicates. Some Pokémon appear in special areas. Others can be met during time-limited events. Only very dedicated trainers can gather the whole collection.

Pokémon of the Generation 4 (Gen IV) were introduced in the games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. They invite players to the Sinnoh region, based on Hokkaido. Please, get more information in the article “Pokémon universe: games, regions, and generations.”

The fourth generation contains many evolutions of Pokémon from the previous ones - often they transform only with the special item, Sinnoh Stone. Immediately after the release, this game has become a global phenomenon.
